Pine Forest in Manali
Tall pine trees disappear into mist and fading light somewhere in the forests of Manali. The image feels quiet and distant, carrying the stillness of cold mountain mornings where sound softens and the forest slowly dissolves into fog.
This hand-made cyanotype print was created using traditional photographic chemicals, sunlight exposure, water, and a physical negative. The soft gradients, deep indigo shadows, and textured brush marks are all shaped naturally through the analogue process, making every print completely unique.
Printed carefully by hand on 300 GSM watercolour paper, this artwork exists as a single original piece. The subtle imperfections and tonal variations are part of the work itself, created through the unpredictable interaction between sunlight, chemistry, and paper.
