River Indus
Untitled Cyanotype Print — River Indus
A storm gathers above the Indus River as light breaks through the clouds and disappears into the mountains. The landscape feels ancient and distant, carrying the silence and scale that only places like Ladakh can hold.
This hand-made cyanotype print was created using traditional photographic chemicals, sunlight, water, and a physical negative. The deep Prussian blue tones, textured brush marks, and uneven edges are part of the process itself, making each print completely unique.
Printed slowly by hand on 300 GSM watercolour paper, this artwork is not digitally reproduced. It exists as a single original piece shaped by weather, light, and time.
Part of a long-term cyanotype practice developed over six summers of working with sunlight and handmade photographic processes.
